Gandhi & Shastri Jayanti was celebrated in in the School with much devotion. The principal lighted the lamp and offered flowers on the photos of these two great souls. . On this occasion, the teacher Mr.Mantu Debta spoke on the essence of the day and encouraged the children. Anurag Das, a student of the school highlighted about the non-violence of Gandhiji. Jayanti Bhoi , a teacher recited a beautiful poem. A sambalpuri song was presented by the children under the guidance of Mr. Nabeen Pandey, the Music teacher. A marvelous Dance was performed by the children under the guidance of Mr. Pritam Pradhan, the dance teacher. On this occasion, school promises was cleaned by the students of the school. The entire program was coordinated by Mrs. Anamika Pattnaik.

National Deworming Day was observed in the school on 26th September-2018. Faculties from Govt. Hospital organized the movement and gave the medicine to the students with the presence of the teachers. Around 650 students were provided the medicines.

As Hindi is the national language of our country the school observed Hindi Divas on 17th September-2018. The entire assembly events were organized in Hindi language. The image of Bharat Mata was worshipped. A nice song was presented by the students. Principal inspired the students to develop the hindi language. Hindi teacher Mr Banmali Dharei highlighted on the importance of the language in our life and activities.

Ganesh Puja was celebrated in the school with great pump and show. Puja was started with chanting of slokas by the priest and shankha. All the students worshipped the Lord Ganesha (god of knowledge and wisdom) and prayed. All the teachers also worshipped and offering the flowers to the lord. At last, prasad was distributed to all the children.

World Literacy Day was observed on 8th September-2018. On this occasion Mr. Sanatan Mahapatra , honourable principal of the school focussed on the importance of the day. He told that India still retains the position of a developing nation and make a developed nation we have to give importance to education and literacy rate in our country. Master Chiranjib Muduli , a student of class IX told that education helps to develop the social and moral ability of a person. A skit was presented by the children , ‘Asa sabhe path padhma’ written by Mr. Dillip Behera and directed by Mr. Dhiren Bhoi. Students such as Mohit, Sameer ,Nilesh, Ishan, Rashmita, and Anshita played different roles and gave a message to literate all. The entire programme was coordinated by Mr. Mantu Debta.

A Parent teachers meeting was held on 8th of September 2018. Around 300 parents have attended the meeting and discussed with their respective class teachers and subject teachers to know about the development of their wards.

Teachers day was observed with pomp and show. Mr Manoj Kumar Shrivastava, Director Plant, BCW, was the chief guest of the day. The celebration was started with the worshiping of the image of Sarbapalli Radhakrishnan,teacher of the teachers. The students also worshiped all the teachers. The chief guest inspired the students, to respect the teacher, and be a good citizen. The students also presented marvelous dances.

The birthday of Lord Sri Krishana or Janmasthami was celebrated with great pomp and show.The principal, along with all teachers worshipped Lord Krishana in the morning assembly conducted specially. Mrs. Ranjulata Sathpathy, the teacher of Sanskrit and Miss Debashrita , a student of the school focused on the activities of lord Krishana, his mysterious birth and the way he became the cause of the death devil king Kansha. The students of the school performed a spiritual song guided by Mr. Nabeen Pandey , the music teacher. The little boys and girls of KG classes were in the costumes of lord Krishna and Radha and presented an entertaining dance , guided by Pritam sir. Breaking of pot and swinging in the decorated swing made the school campus highly festive. The entire program was coordinated by Mr. Mantu Debta.

A special assembly was arranged to observe National Sports Day. The Principal lighted the mangal deep in front of the picture of the great legend Dhyanchand and a garland of flowers was also put on the same. Mr Stalin Das, PET, highlighted on the sports and its importance. Naman Acharya, a student delivered a short speech on the same topic. The principal has highlighted the importance of sports and game in our life. Different sports were organised for KG students.

Raksha Bandhan, Gangadhar Meher Jayanti & Sanskrit Divas were celebrated on 27th August-2018.A special assembly was organized where all the items were presented in Odia and Sanskrit language.Sanskrit Teacher- Ranjulata Satpathy delivered a short speech in Sanskrit on the importance and history of Sanskrit. Tejas Das, a student highlighted on the life of the great poet Gangadhar Meher.A nice song from the Tapaswini, was presented by the students. At last the KG students tied the Rakshi and enjoyed the festival.
